  1. I think you know how I feel about your work, Diane... these are all wonderful and so uniquely you. My favorite is "A Brief Encounter, Or, Move Over Emily Dickinson"-- I am utterly enamored with it. Enjoy your daughter's wedding tomorrow!

  2. Thanks, Michelle, I had a lot of fun with that one! The wedding rehearsal was last night, we're into the final stretch! Thank goodness there will be a break in the heat tomorrow!

  3. I count myself lucky to have been a recipient of one of your poems, Diane! These are all lovely! I hope the wedding is wonderfully memorable in the best of ways. I get to play Mother of the Groom next month and just finalized the rehearsal dinner plans so I may be able to breathe. ;-)

  5. Enjoyed all these poems, Diane. Hard to pick a favorite, but I'm leaning towards "Reports of the Weather" and "Summer, Late Afternoon." Great pictures paired with these poems too. :)

    Have fun at the wedding!!

    1. Since most everything is out of my hands, I expect it will all go well. My only assignment for tomorrow is show up and to not break anything (like bones--one of which I fractured at my son's wedding).
