This turkey was outside the public library where I work. It was such a shock to see her there.
Instead of just staring, a 'thoughtful' librarian would have flashed her an illustration from a book called RUN, TURKEY RUN! to give her a heads up about the perils of getting too close to humans in the upcoming month.Just saying . . .
A thoughtful librarian had the presence of mind to run to get the camera to record the happening for the poet.
