Hi Gillena! Thanks for your comments today. In the U.S. the stats are 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. There are 7 women in my writers' group and 3 of us have had breast cancer!

I found it so remarkable that my ten year anniversary was two months old when I finally realized it. If you had told me during those first years that I'd kind-of-forget, I wouldn't have believed you.
I hardly think of it any more. One of the lucky ones, I guess, as you are, too!
