    1. Thanks, Linda! I was thinking of ice cream when I wrote it, but I'm awfully glad it spoke chocolate bar to you.

      Now, I will subject you to a rant. Please feel free to stop reading. I will never understand the need for the candification of all treats. For instance, you can't buy a plain cookie. It has to have chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch, etc. chunks (chips are passe), and be drizzled with sugar icing or coated with chocolate. Cookie is just something to hold the candy bits together. Same with ice cream. Everything now has to be swirled with fudge, caramel, or marshmallow and have chunks of stuff ranging from chocolate covered pretzels to bits of gumball. It's just a giant mush of cold candy. Even the cones have chocolate edges covered with multi-colored sprinkles. Order plain vanilla or plain chocolate in a dish and they look at you funny! Rant over...

  2. I crave simplicity too, Diane. I think, as a society, it's really what we need right now.
