Happy Haiga Day!

This one is for today's Sound Poem Project assignment. The sound clip is of waves, which put me in mind of the feeling of disorientation one feels when standing on the beach and a wave recedes. Laura Shovan is the originator of the project and you can find out more about it here.

  1. I'm just writing to the sound, now, and love that you found a way to show the feeling of being there, at the edge. That sound is powerful, isn't it? I like the question, and the 'sand slides', Diane.

    1. I love the sound. I remember staying at an inn in RI, which sat right on the beach. The sound of waves all night long so like being rocked in a cradle!

  2. The waves sound is movement. You captured the feeling of sand beneath your feet loosening. The ground literally moves beneath you.
