as a women could be

Anna Vaughn Hyatt, an accomplished sculptor, became one of the highest paid women in the United States in the early twentieth century.

  3. It's a wonderful poem to respond to this important woman's portrait and to the artist who painted her with such great respect. I enjoyed learning about her life. What a talent to be sure to learn well about animals and then translate it into her own work. "as a woman could be" says a lot!
