Yesterday's events were stunning, but, I see them as the beginning of the end for the right and its giddy, irresponsible actions since its win in November. When they garnered so many majorities in state and federal legislatures they took it as a sign that they could do whatever-the-hell they wanted. Not so.
The American public was looking for an end to the recession, an end to record unemployment, an end to their fear of losing their homes. That's what they were looking for, but that's not what they're getting. You can only push them so far...
I'm so upset by yesterday's events in Wisconsin that it's nice to stop by here and get a moment of distraction. Thanks.
