Actually, Michelle, I pulled an old fannypack (remember those?) out of the closet and I found a mini post-it pad with two haiku, the one above, and another about an outdoor theater performance. The funny thing is, I can't remember when they were from!
If you have the opportunity to see taiko drummers, take it! I've loved all the performances I've seen--even the ones I've forgotten! :-)
