This is the last Friday of Katku before I'll take a break. They are kind of addictive--at least as far as creating them is concerned.

The Poetry Friday Round-Up is taking place at My Juicy Little Universe. Next week, it will be here!
I'm still sad about my Pearl, so katku is kind of rough on this cat-less writer (more so because we probably aren't getting another, as we have a family cat allergy problem). That said, I love what you did with the images, and the cattitude is just right.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about Pearl. I still find myself mourning my Smudgie, and she's been gone more than two years. :-(
DeleteLove love your katku! Sorry to hear you're taking a break from them. Again, ingenious graphics, and all three poems capture the essence of "cat-ness." I think the first might be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteIt'll only be a short break. Next week I'm hosting the Round-Up, so I'm including a strong-woman-no-cat poem.
DeleteThe artistic placement is wonderful, Diane. That "look" with the haiku in the final one, hard to forget! But I love the first, "winter sun", remembering my former cat dozing in a patch of sunlight. If stopping, take a whirl in this at least once in a while!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, in the winter, you'll find me in any spot of sun I can find.
DeleteLove your katku, Diana! And your graphics are great, too!
ReplyDeleteWithout the art, they'd just be cat heads!
DeleteThose are fabulous. The images complete the package! -- Christie @ https://wonderingandwondering.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteThank you Christie!
DeleteWow. These must be excellent, because they are provoking a feeling of discomfort! I'll try to go back and see the ones I've missed.
ReplyDeleteI hope not too discomforted!
DeleteLOL You go, girl! Keep 'em coming.
ReplyDeleteI will, it's just that I need to spend some time looking at art to find more usable pictures.
DeleteThese have been so much fun! I will miss reading them and laughing at the artwork.
ReplyDeleteThey're not gone for good--I'm just taking a little break so that everyone doesn't get bored!
DeleteThese need to be a book! Those first two could be our cat!
ReplyDeleteMary Lee, would you like to be my agent?
DeleteAs a devoted cat-lady, and a poetry lover, I adore these katku, and I will miss them!
ReplyDeleteEach one here gets a bit creepier, and the last one is wonderful! They'd definitely be good in a book.
ReplyDeleteContinued awesomeness. Glad they'll be prowling back later for a little more summer fun... Mrrow.
